Almenwelt Lofer in Lofer/Austria has 10 cable cars and lifts as well as 46 km skiing trails. Winter time provides lots of fun in Almenwelt Lofer! Embedded in the heart of the holiday region, Salzburger Saalachtal, our ski resort received the highest grades in terms of "Family Friendliness” at various ski area tests. The investments of the last few years, e.g the Almen 8-seater chairlift: Schwarzeck, the new restaurant: Kechtalm with it's magnificent views or the new water reservoir for more snow making, have definitely paid off. Our ski area can be reached toll free in only 1,5 hours driving time from Munich. The 46 kilometres of skiing trails (32 km blue/easy, 12 km red/intermediate and 2 km black/difficult) offer skiing pleasure on variable difficult slope conditions. In addition, we can score with our new roof covered "Magic Carpet“ (conveyor belt). At 140 meter long it was made especially for our youngest visitors and beginners. Also, our "Almenwelt winter-hiking trail” (4 km long) is a must amongst the many cross-country ski-tracks which lead you along and through our magnificent Almenwelt surroundings. Furthermore, we provide diverting adventure rides for all free-skiers and snowboarders with our fun slope "Lofi Funline“. Various restaurants and Apres-Ski bars round up this popular resort of Almenwelt Lofer.
