2014 was a poor season for Roundhill. The early part of the season was warm and the mid-season was dry. This was actually one of the better days. Since the installation of the longest rope-tow in the world, up the ridge on the right, Roundhill has gone from being a modest resort to a big-hitter that is always worth a visit when conditions are good. The surrounding Two Thumb Range offer some of the best ski touring in NZ.
